We want to make it easy for you to review the candidates with whatever time you have.

Each candidate page includes the same set of information so you can compare them fairly.
• Timeline of personal accomplishments
• Positions on key issue areas
• One short essay response
• An idea for their first piece of legislation
3. Watch the Candidate Forum
The League of Women Voters hosted a Candidate Forum on Thursday 12/4.
Why are we providing this information?
The way Forward is conducting this preference poll is unprecedented. In fact, we think it’s a first in the United States. We’re using digital voting, Approval Voting, and we’re inviting everyone in the district to participate. We also set a short timeline and strict spending limits. Each candidate can spend only 300 dollars, and had only three weeks to campaign.
That’s why we feel a responsibility to present every candidate on equal footing. No one has a fundraising advantage. No one has months to build a large campaign. What voters see here is based on ideas, experience, and how well each person represents the community.
