Applicants must adhere to the following:
Basic Eligibility
U.S. Citizen at least 25 years old
Utah resident for > 3 Years
Resident of Senate District 11 for > 6 months
Be (or become by November 11, 2025) a registered member of the Forward Party
Application
Agree to a full background and social media history check; to cover cost either pay $75, or you can file for a waiver
Sign the Forward Party Candidate Pledge and reelection pledge
Submit the Forward Party Candidate Packet including:
Personal video statement
Letter of recommendation
Essay response

Pre-Selection Process
Pursuant to the Forward Party's commitment for transparency, the attached documents show the process by which the Forward Party selected the 5 final candidates and provides the average scores of each candidate. We are grateful to all 7 candidates for participating in the process. As the scores from our committee show, all 7 candidates were tightly bunched.
The candidates with the top 5 scores were selected to be part of the next phase.
